Responsibilities

Ensure material requirements are planned to consider lead-time, capacity and readiness to support current and future delivery schedules
Responsible for processes impacting inventory coverage, req releases, lead-time management, fulfillment and logistics to drive accountability and performance improvement
Responsible for standard work creation and adherence for materials planning and execution processes
Lead continuous improvement efforts and coach peers on tools and strategies to benefit operating metrics. Drives operating cadences within team and supports problem solving efforts as needed
Facilitate strong partnership across key functions - including Buying, Engineering, Program Management, Shop Planning and Execution, etc
Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Operate in gray space to provide structure and process rigor

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain(or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain

Preferred

Experience in Supply Planning or Sourcing / Procurement
Experience within procurement, ideally in Aerospace sector
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, or desire and willingness to grow into a team leader
