Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations following physician orders and established protocols
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively
Apply radiation safety principles to minimize patient and staff exposure
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining exams and ensuring comfort and safety
Review images for quality and accuracy prior to submission for interpretation
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff
Qualification
Required
Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
Current CPR Certification & Fluoroscopy permit
Experience with EPIC EMR charting
Preferred
At least 2 years of acute experience
Previous successful completion of travel assignments
