Event Technology Specialist, Conferences and Events
The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to enhance the California Community Colleges system. The Event Technology Specialist will support various conferences and events, managing technical components and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all technical components for in-person, virtual and hybrid events
Manage all technology vendors throughout the event process
Acts a technology advisor for all Conference and Events staff members
Collaborate with the Conferences and Events Manager to lead the end-to-end RFP process specifically for audiovisual (AV) vendors and contractors
Work closely with the Event Leads, Registration Leads, and the Communications team to create registration pages for events
Provide technical consultation to clients and Conference and Events team, identifying their needs and presenting solutions that best fulfill their needs
Manage AV and technology companies and contractors at conferences, events, and meetings
Lead assigned client intake meetings with a focus on technical and AV requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3+ years of related work experience in AV and Event Technology Operations
Strong background in event technology
Expertise in AV technology
Experience planning and executing virtual, in-person, and hybrid events
Capability of overseeing mid-range event planning
Ability to support the execution of complex events
Preferred
Experience in and/or familiarity with the California Community Colleges and system partners and stakeholders
Experience using CRM to track stakeholder lists; direct experience with Salesforce
Experience using Cvent and Asana
