Risk Contract & Legal Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities
Perform large scale contract/legal document reviews
Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to company policies and external regulations
Evaluate and enhance internal controls, including segregation of duties, incident handling, and change management
Identify, analyze, and document potential risks, operational issues, and compliance gaps in business practices
Develop, implement, and maintain risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures
Monitor and interpret updated laws, regulations, and industry standards to assess impact on operations
Prepare and present clear reports of findings, risk assessments, and compliance status to senior leadership
Provide subject-matter guidance and training to staff regarding compliance protocols and risk management best practices
Manage and respond to contract compliance issues, ensuring legal terms are met and deviations are escalated
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Risk Management or Finance
Typically requires 2–3 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, legal, or contract administration
Typically requires 2-5 years of experience managing large-scale contract document reviews
Deep knowledge of applicable regulations, legal standards, and industry best practices
Proficiency with compliance and risk management software, audit tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
High-level analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and operate effectively across teams
Preferred
AAS degree (Paralegal Studies)
