Administrative Assistant I/Receptionist
Tyonek Native Corp is seeking an Administrative Assistant I/Receptionist to provide efficient and courteous service to clients and visitors. The role involves directing visitors, answering calls, performing clerical duties, and maintaining staff movements, all while ensuring a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities
Direct and control the flow of clients or visitors to their destinations, maintain sign-in sheet and distribute identification badges to visitors
Maintain knowledge of the company products or services and staff and answer simple questions about company policies, procedures and operations or refer more complicated questions to other company personnel
Use public address system to page employees when needed
Answer multi-line telephone system and direct calls to appropriate area or personnel
Perform clerical duties
Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
Assist professional staff in other capacities as needed
Creates expense reports as needed for executives
Reviews and approves expense reports for AP to process
Other Duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years of relevant experience
Human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors/customers in person or on the telephone
Skilled in verbal and written communication
Strong organizational skills and the ability to pivot tasks, as needs require
Microsoft Suite of programs experience required
Must have ability to multi-task and problem solve
We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing
US Citizenship is required
Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs
On occasion must be able to lift 30 pounds
Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions
