Accounting Assistant (Part Time)
Tecta America Commercial Roofing is an established company specializing in roofing services, and they are seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant for their Riverside, CA office. The Accounting Assistant will provide administrative accounting support for day-to-day operations and assist with contract management and payroll tasks.

Responsibilities
Perform general administrative functions related to sales estimates, including quotes and responding to administrative needs of the office
Review and process contracts. Create projects and manage change orders
Handle confidential information, maintaining confidentiality with a high level of integrity
Coordinate orientation efforts and assist in the onboarding of new hires
Assist with payroll and certified payroll reporting
Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable
Prepare expense reports
Reconcile the monthly purchase cards and post transactions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of office-related practices and procedures
Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel & Word) with strong attention to detail
Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with associates
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, including strong attention to detail
Preferred
2 years of administrative support in a construction office environment preferred
Previous experience with supporting accounting activities in a project-based environment
