Responsibilities

Participates in preparation and management of research budgets and monetary disbursements
Directs the requisition, collection, labeling, storage, or shipment of specimens
Codes, evaluates, or interprets collected study data
Records adverse event and side effect data and confers with investigators regarding the reporting of events to oversight agencies
Communicates with laboratories or investigators regarding laboratory findings
Collaborates with investigators to prepare presentations or reports of clinical study procedures, results, and conclusions
Orders drugs or devices necessary for study completion
Performs other duties as assigned or required

Required

General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
General knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities

Proficient skills in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
