Proactively identify, source, and recruit qualified MD/DO physicians for locum tenens assignments nationwide
Initiate outbound contact via phone, text, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and other strategic recruiting channels
Build and maintain long-term physician relationships through exceptional rapport, trust, and service
Educate physicians on the personal, professional, and financial benefits of a locum tenens career
Screen, qualify, and prepare physicians for submission and credentialing readiness
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned physicians throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Partner closely with sales and account management teams to efficiently fill client assignments
Generate and manage leads through strategic planning, referrals, and outbound efforts
Own your desk, pipeline, KPIs, and production metrics end-to-end
Operate with urgency in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of locum tenens physician recruiting experience strongly preferred
Proven success recruiting and placing MD/DO physicians
Staffing agency experience required
Comfortable with high outbound call volume and proactive physician engagement
Strong closing skills with a competitive, commission-driven mindset
Experience using ATS/CRM systems (Bullhorn preferred)
Client-centered mentality with a passion for delivering exceptional physician experiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
