Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract position. The role involves building enterprise-level server-side applications using Core Java and Spring Framework, as well as developing UI applications using React and ensuring test coverage.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise‑level server‑side applications using Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Scheduler, Hibernate, JPA, and J2EE technologies

Develop UI applications using React and ensure test coverage using frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber

Apply strong design skills with proven knowledge of Design Patterns and SOLID Principles

Use AI‑powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality

Work with technologies such as Java/J2EE, ORM/Hibernate, XML, XPath, XSLT, RESTful Web Services, and deploy on Apache Tomcat or similar web servers

Execute commands and perform troubleshooting within UNIX/Linux operating systems

Utilize profiling tools like JProbe or any Java profiling tool for performance tuning

Write complex SQL queries for databases (Sybase or DB2 preferred)

Work with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and JSON formats across integration layers

Participate in all phases of Agile software development and integrate with DevOps pipelines

Use Jira or similar ALM tools to track progress, maintain quality, and support collaborative development

Required

8–10 years of relevant full‑stack software development experience

Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, React, and enterprise engineering

Expertise in JUnit/TestNG, performance profiling tools, and code optimization

Strong SQL skills and experience with Sybase or DB2 databases

Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills

Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps integration

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Experience with AI developer tools (Copilot, etc.)

Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, scripting, and system commands

Experience building high‑quality, testable, scalable enterprise applications
