Responsibilities
Design, configure, upgrade, and maintain network specific infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
Analyze current working infrastructures
Increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a network engineering lead or architect for Enterprise DoW Networks
3+ years of experience as a senior network engineer supporting large DoD networks providing engineering support in a professional setting
Experience in virtualization with networking and systems
Experience with Cisco network technologies, including routers, switches, and Next-Generation Firewalls
Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient network infrastructures
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Security+ or Cisco CCNA Certification
Preferred
Experience with Zero Trust concepts
Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and network security in accredited DoW networks
Experience with Access Control systems such as Cisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC), including using network management and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Cisco Catalyst Center
Knowledge of Cloud operations in Microsoft Azure or AWS
Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
Cisco CCNP, ISC2 CISSP, Juniper JNCIP, or Cisco CCIE Certification
