Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain reliable ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake to support analytics and operational workloads
Ingest and integrate data from upstream systems (e.g., Oracle ERP, Teradata) into curated data models and products
Implement robust SQL and PL/SQL transformations, performance tuning, and optimization of queries and storage
Orchestrate batch workloads and data workflows using Control-M; monitor data quality and SLAs with Bigeye
Define and implement data models (normalized, dimensional) and document lineage, metadata, and governance
Enforce security and DevSecOps best practices across the data stack, including access controls and secrets management
Enable downstream consumption in Tableau and self-service tools through efficient data products and APIs
Apply AI/ML concepts pragmatically to data engineering use cases (e.g., enrichment, classification, automation), with a strong focus on security
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver features end-to-end from design through deployment
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines; own incident resolution and root-cause analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 3 plus years of related experience
3+ years experience Strong SQL and PL/SQL proficiency with hands-on experience in relational databases
Experience building Snowflake data products by integrating multi-source data (Oracle, Teradata, etc.) for analytics and self-serve reporting
Solid understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices and CI/CD methodologies for data pipelines
Preferred
Positive self-starter with strong communication and time management skills
Works independently, seeks guidance when needed, and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Familiarity with cloud services such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure
Understanding of supply/demand planning, sourcing, and broader supply chain processes
Experience with RPA technologies
Experience with Python for data engineering tasks; Golang or Node.js exposure is a plus
Certifications in databases (Snowflake), cloud (AWS/Azure/Oracle), AI/ML, or Oracle ERP are highly valued
