Software Engineer - Mission Services - Level 2
Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, seeking a Software Engineer for the Mission Services team within Mission Management Systems. The role involves developing backend software solutions for Command and Control Systems, including full software lifecycle development, requirement generation, and integration activities.

Responsibilities
Full software lifecycle development to support ground station development for unmanned systems
Generate requirements, system and software design and implementation
Create new performance capabilities and software services for the air vehicle
Resolving change requests and action requests as the software is updated, tested, and integrated
Participating in integration activities that will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include integrated simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in a relevant field of study; or equivalent experience
Experience with C++
Security Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Java
C# (C-Sharp)
Agile Software Development Methodology and Tools Experience (ex. Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Software Development Tools Experience (Visual Studio)
Experience in UCI messaging
Experience with Complex Algorithms
Linux Operating Systems Experience
System Test and Integration Experience
Practical Knowledge and Skills of Messaging Systems (ex. ActiveMQ)
Ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate effectively with others
