Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and basic accounting for two small businesses
Oversee all Accounts Receivable (AR) processes for a social media talent agency, including invoicing, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts
Maintain accurate records of transactions, expenses, and revenue
Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for management
Advise on tax deductions and write-offs specific to content creation, such as equipment, software, travel, and marketing costs
Coordinate with external accountants for tax filing and compliance
Qualification
Required
Domestic candidate (U.S. based) required
Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally with small businesses and/or social media talent agencies
Strong understanding of the creator economy and the financial nuances of content creation
Knowledge of relevant tax write-offs and deductions for creators
Proficiency with accounting software QuickBooks Online
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
Detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about supporting the growth of creators and small businesses
