Responsibilities
A solid understanding of cocktail and wine service ensures an exceptional guest experience
Set up and break down tables, serving stations, and buffet displays, including arranging breakfast settings and table linens
Understand food preparation processes and maintain familiarity with standard and signature menu items, including their ingredients
Complete essential side work such as preparing garnishes, stocking cold stations with cream and butter, and maintaining condiments and linens
Accurately operate computerized systems to record orders, process transactions, and manage ticketing precisely
Receive, serve, and ensure timely delivery of meal orders while providing an engaging dining experience
Identify and report any unsafe conditions immediately to maintain a secure work environment
Greet, seat, and assist guests to enhance their overall experience
Keep service areas fully stocked with essential items such as glassware, silverware, and linens
Step in as a Busser or Runner when necessary to ensure seamless service
Attend mandatory meetings and participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Ensure all workspaces remain tidy and orderly for efficiency and professionalism
Support the team by taking on various responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
Food Safety Certification
Safe Alcohol Vendor Certification
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
Preferred
6 months to 1-year previous experience preferred
