Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, integrate, customize, and enhance existing or new systems
Apply appropriate Agile methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology for managing development activities
Automate the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
Participate in change management and service ticket management processes, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective resolution monitoring
Lead projects when required and develop a strong understanding of the solutions being delivered
Understand ISU Financial, Billing, and Invoicing processes and backend job functionality
Comprehend the treatment of payments and balances within the system
Ensure user satisfaction by providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of complex issues
Design, develop, and test experimental applications to explore new ideas within bounded cost and time frames
Ensure application processes align with corporate social responsibility, security, compliance, environmental, and technical policies, as well as applicable standards and legislation
Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors on matters relating to computer systems when needed
Define metrics and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for developed systems
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate / GED
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
6+ years of relevant experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems
