Manager, Workday HRIS
Stoneridge is a company that designs and manufactures advanced technologies for vehicle OEMs. The Manager, Workday HRIS is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution and support of HR technology platforms, primarily focusing on Workday HCM, while ensuring effective delivery and coordination across the HR technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop HRIS analysts, setting clear priorities and expectations while building capability, coverage, and consistent service delivery
Lead production support operations for Workday HCM and other HR systems—owning incident/defect management and root‑cause remediation to ensure stability, timely resolution, and minimal business disruption
Lead the HRIS enhancement lifecycle by aligning intake and prioritization to the HRIS roadmap and functional COE needs, and delivering enhancements and reporting/analytics through configuration ownership, technical test execution, and COE partnership for UAT and readiness
Partner with HR COEs, HRLT, HRBPs, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements, translating business needs into actionable solutions for internal resources and external partners
Lead semi‑annual Workday release management and stabilization (impact assessment, regression testing, communications, and post‑release hypercare), recommending adoption and enablement approaches for new functionality to drive uptake and minimize disruption
Monitor data accuracy and system integrity through audits, reconciliations, and controls to ensure reliable reporting, integrations, and downstream processes
Support Workday security and access governance, including role design, access reviews, and audit/SOX readiness by maintaining evidence of access controls and supporting compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements
Monitor integrations across the HR technology ecosystem, partnering with COEs and vendors to troubleshoot issues and maintain secure, reliable data flows
Maintain system documentation and knowledge articles, standardizing processes and applying change‑management and adoption practices to prepare stakeholders for new Workday enhancements, ensure smooth transitions, and reinforce long‑term system stability
Coordinate and oversee external AMS and vendor delivery by setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, monitoring performance against SLAs, and driving continuous improvement
Escalate risks, trade-offs, and prioritization conflicts with clear options and recommendations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
Demonstrated experience leading production support, intake processes, requirements analysis, and system enhancements across multiple Workday SKUs (i.e., Core HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence)
Experience managing or coordinating the work of analysts and external vendors or AMS partners
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting a global organization
Preferred
Master's degree in Business, in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
Workday Pro Certification(s)
Experience in a global manufacturing environment
