Responsibilities
Role is a comprehensive billing function that works in a closely coordinated billing team
Expertise in the full RCM lifecycle, performance optimization, AR aging process
Streamlining processes, achieving company goals, and improving the patient experience
Streamlining billing and collections
Ability to improve workflows and help build/refine billing metrics
Ability support and manage a team of billers, virtual and on site
Auditing daily claim billing and for accuracy
Resolve claim edits/exclusions
Understanding billing guidelines and payor requirements
Oversee unpaid claims to ensure prompt payment based on aging
Insurance appeal experience
Experience in balancing/closing
Experience with Collections, Refunds, and Statements
Knowledgeable in follow-up on patient and insurance accounts receivables
Answer patient questions in regards to balances/insurance issues
Meet departmental productivity and quality standards
Team building, training, cross-functional collaboration
Training front desk and call center on billing-related issues
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 3 years' of rigorous experience in medical billing
Expertise in the full RCM lifecycle, performance optimization, AR aging process
Streamlining processes, achieving company goals, and improving the patient experience
Streamlining billing and collections
Ability to improve workflows and help build/refine billing metrics
Ability support and manage a team of billers, virtual and on site
Auditing daily claim billing and for accuracy
