Facilities Manager

Responsibilities
Lead FM Real Estate activities at sub-regional level, provide expert FM knowledge and implement global plans at a sub-regional level
Oversee Facility Management services, including Engineering & Operations, Workplace Services, Asset Management, and Occupancy Optimization
Prepare & conduct Performance Dialogues with Facility Management Teams and other key stakeholders involved in the FM value chain
Provide guidance to the Head of CRE Sub-Region on all FM activities and future roadmap
Direct team and service providers in executing the Facility Management tactical goals
Ensure own team delivers an efficient, high-quality service that meets business and external needs
Direct the implementation of FM services, business plans and objectives sub-regionally and across all business units
Provide regular reports on facility operations, expenses, and projects to management
Negotiate critical agreements/contracts with other departments and 3rd parties
Manage FM sub-regional budget, including creation and approval
Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems e.g. external service providers
Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
Extensive contact and negotiating with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectives
Influence and challenge key stakeholders effectively
Develop strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with senior DPDHL business leaders
Influence others across DPDHL and externally as an internally and externally recognized thought leader representing the Group
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or Architecture
8+ years of Facility Management, Operations & Maintenance experience
Expert knowledge of logistics facilities, construction processes and equipment including HVAC, elevators, lighting systems, roofing systems and general building structures
Bachelor's degree with focus in engineering, with particular emphasis on Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, and/or Maintenance Engineering
10+ years of experience in engineering, with particular emphasis on project or engineering management
3+ years of project management experience in a Logistics and/or engineering environment
Preferred
Facilities Management Certification
