Responsibilities
Utilize a variety of lab equipment to verify extruded film and finished goods meet functionality requirements
Conduct analysis of product samples, compile data and interpret the results using computer software. Administration and maintenance of electronic database is necessary
Perform quality audits on the production floor checking for print and specification defects
Analyze all non-conforming material reports and complaints and work with applicable parties to assist in the resolution of these quality-related problems
Work with production, engineering, customer service and technical support in solving problems directly related to quality assurance
Comply with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience working in a manufacturing environment required
Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions
Preferred
Lab experience preferred
Experience using basic tools and measuring devices (ruler, pi tape, scales, etc.)
