Clinical Student Intern
Kadlec is the largest non-profit healthcare provider in the Tri-Cities region, offering primary and specialty care. The Clinical Student Intern will be trained in phlebotomy functions, including specimen collection and processing, while ensuring effective communication with patients.

Perform a variety of functions related to specimen collection, transport, and processing
Control and management of confidential information
Utilization of age related concepts for patients across all demographics when communicating with patients and families
Using medical equipment
Participating in diagnostic or other procedures
Qualification
Required
H.S. Diploma or GED
Preferred
Be selected for enrollment in the Providence Phlebotomy Training Program
Complete the Providence Phlebotomy Training Program within 3 months of hire
1 year Healthcare experience including verbal interactions with patients, physicians and other health care professionals
6 months Customer service experience and phone experience
6 months Laboratory or related science experience
