Responsibilities
Determine market sentiment via economic data analysis, valuation, and research
Provide key parties with daily trading information, as well as inform sales staff of market movements and prices
Keep abreast of financial markets and continually monitor the client portfolio investments
Manage and maintain portfolios and large US dollar sums of international clients
Execute trades for ultra-high net worth clients
Focus on fixed income, equities, options, currencies, swaps, structured products, reports, and the money market
Provide Fixed Income and Equity trade ideas for US booking center
Design and implement data analyses tools to track portfolio performance and deviations
Develop existing activities and relationships with brokers and dealers
Report on portfolio performances
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in economics, business, similar field or any engineering concentration and two years of experience trading products on a financial desk
Knowledge of pricing instruments in emerging markets (Private and Government Debt Instruments)
Knowledge of the entire trade lifecycle, from execution to settlement, with an emphasis on risk management and compliance
Knowledge of the political, economic, and market dynamics in Brazil, including country, currency, and liquidity risks
Knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations, including taxes on securities and financial transactions that affect trading and client portfolios
Knowledge of Python, specifically in automating tasks, data analysis, and generating reports
Experience in creating dynamic dashboards to analyze P&L, performance, and client portfolios in Microsoft Power BI
Proficiency in Excel regarding financial modeling, data analysis, and VBA automation
Experience automating trade capture, reporting, and reconciliation
Will sponsor for FINRA Series SIE, 7, 57, 66 exams if not already licensed
