Senior Project Manager (Remote from anywhere in CO).
The State of Colorado is dedicated to improving the lives of all Coloradans through innovation and collaboration. They are seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of large, complex, multi-platform technology initiatives, ensuring projects are completed successfully from concept to application.

Responsibilities
Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans
Developing new approaches and employing existing plans, to create detailed work strategies, schedules, project estimates, budget management and status reports, ensuring a smooth transition to operations
Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes
Determining and assessing requests for additional staff and/or contractors, working with outside service providers as needed to complete technology projects
Facilitating cross functional teams within OIT, customer organizations and vendors
Conducting post-mortem project assessment, suggesting process or procedures improvements
Coaching, mentoring, and motivating project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work
Managing relationships across OIT, customers and vendors, cultivating a thorough understanding of core business functions and alignment with business objectives
Qualification
Required
A minimum of eight (8) years experience that includes a combination of IT and IT project management for large, complex projects and/or project portfolio management, which demonstrates strong relationship building and management skills, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Experience leveraging tools such as Tableau or BI to make data driven decisions using a variety of project management tools and methodologies
Business processes and mapping of business functions to services
Defining and executing large, complex technology programs
Solid understanding of change management and ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred
Relevant IT certifications (e.g. Scrum, ITIL, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
PMP Certification
Agile and Scrum methodology experience
Knowledge of software development methodologies, system implementation and integration and/or a technical discipline
Strong quality and customer service orientation

While candidates from out of state will be considered for this role, the candidate selected for the position must relocate and reside in Colorado on the first day of their new position.
