Responsibilities
Semantic Layer Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of semantic logic and AI pipelines that bridge raw data sources and customer-facing analytics
Code Optimization: Transition legacy logic into clean, optimized SQL structures and dbt-ready environments to ensure a unified "Source of Truth"
Rapid Delivery: Build rapid data prototypes and validated data models to address immediate supply chain challenges
Technical Excellence: Responsible for validating logic functionality and ensuring technical documentation is complete for long-term scalability
Resource Management: Direct the efforts of technical support staff to accelerate engineering delivery
Qualification
Required
Mastery of SQL with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries for global data sets
Proven experience architecting semantic layers and scalable data systems
Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent enterprise platforms
A 'player-coach' mentality with a track record of delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools is strongly preferred
