Responsibilities
Confirm required materials are ordered and delivered on schedule
Track and report daily production progress, including:
Manpower levels vs. plan
Labor hours and shift coverage
Tasks completed (weekly updates)
Daily challenges and constraints
Punch list items, corrective actions, and follow-ups
Review daily work plans and confirm accomplishments
Attend scheduled and emergent project calls
Lead and schedule 2–3 week look-ahead meetings with suppliers and sub-suppliers
Conduct regular site visits to supplier manufacturing facilities to assess progress and compliance, as required
Ensure look-ahead plans include witness and hold points, coordinating with Quality teams to issue inspection notices within required timelines
Review rolling 3-week look-ahead plans to anticipate:
Production capacity
Equipment deliveries
Manpower availability
Planned work and percent completion
Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports to Project and Procurement teams
Monitor the condition and certification of equipment (e.g., cranes, welding equipment)
Ensure all work is performed safely; stop work and escalate concerns when necessary
Coordinate with site Quality teams to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications
Collaborate with internal teams to identify risks, mitigate delays, and improve execution strategies
Propose process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency and supplier performance
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field) OR equivalent technical experience
Strong ability to read and interpret design documents, shop drawings, and specifications
Hands-on experience with metal building installation, including prefabricated structures, steel framing, and cladding
Experience in quality assurance or inspection for pre-engineered buildings or similar structures
Knowledge of welding, bolting, paneling, and structural alignment for prefab buildings
Familiarity with welding codes, industry standards, and local building regulations
Strong understanding of QC/QA procedures, material inspections, and workmanship verification
Proficiency with measurement and alignment tools (laser levels, survey instruments, etc.)
Experience using scheduling and planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent
Preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective negotiation and influencing abilities with internal teams and external suppliers
Ability to address conflict directly and constructively
Experience interpreting drawings, schedules, and quality documentation
Background in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related functions
Strong analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills
Proven project management capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to solve complex problems with limited information
Strong sense of urgency and bias for action
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
