Responsibilities
Must be proficient on a front-end loader
Operate power construction equipment, such as: bulldozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, scrapers, motor graders, and shovels
Heavy equipment operators drive heavy construction equipment and control their attachments, such as buckets, swing booms, scrapers and blades
Comprehend specifications and instructions, both verbal and written
Working with heavy-duty machinery requires knowledge of and strict adherence to safety regulations
Repair and replace crusher components such as: conveyor belts, guarding, rollers etc
Qualification
Required
Must be proficient on a front-end loader

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of experience operating heavy equipment
Climb onto and down from equipment several times a day
Withstand vibration from job site conditions as well as noise from other equipment
Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE), as required
Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
Preferred
Previous experience equipment and/or working in an HMA plant is preferred
Good mechanical skills for equipment repair and fabrication is desirable
MSHA certification is considered a plus
