Responsibilities
Creates and maintains banquet event orders for ‘day’ social groups and elopements to turn over to the Wedding & Catering Sales Manager who are client facing
Must have strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, attention to detail and creativity
Completes all required event documentation for the Town of Kiawah
Must be able to work Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Maintains and supports Service Commitment and Core Values
Qualification
Required
Computer training and typing skills required
Must have ability to communicate with proper grammar in English and provide legible, detailed communication and have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
Ability to use catering systems such as Salesforce or Delphi or reservations systems such as Versa
Must have strong organizational and leadership skills and able to compute basic mathematical calculations
Must have professional demeanor and positive, friendly attitude with the ability to perform job functions with attention to detail and accuracy
Must have strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, attention to detail and creativity
Must be able to work Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Must be able to lift minimum weight of 20 lbs. across short-medium distances
Must be capable of working Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Must be able to sit / stand for a majority of shift while reaching, bending and stooping as needed
Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements
Preferred
College graduate preferred
Previous Resort, Hotel or Event Planning experience preferred
Food and Beverage experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of local area helpful
