Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical design drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Perform CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and thermal analysis on container-based HVAC systems
Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) on steel weldment structures and custom metal assemblies
Interpret engineer markups to modify technical schematics and construction documents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications
Apply knowledge of ISO container construction, sheet metal, and modular fabrication methods
Support project deliverables on time, ensuring quality and accuracy
Uphold punctuality and maintain compliance with GTI safety standards
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school or vocational program
2+ years of experience in mechanical design or drafting
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and familiarity with BIM platforms
Experience with sheet metal, weldments, and metal framing
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Competency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with modular or prefabricated construction methods
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced engineering team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
Exposure to containerized systems or heavy-gauge metal fabrication
