Responsibilities
Design & engineer AB molecules
Support the discovery & optimization of bi- / multi-specific AB formats – optimize affinity, stability, immunogenicity, & developability
Partner with downstream dev teams to ensure preclinical & IND-enabling requirements
Plan experiments, mentor team members, & analyze complex datasets
Communicate findings via presentations, IP filings, & external publications
Promote an open & innovative research culture
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Protein Engineering, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or similar
5+ years of industry AB engineering experience
Immunology & Inflammation experience
Experience bringing Antibodies from Discovery to IND
Familiar with molecular biology & protein expression techniques
Experience with AB optimization methods (i.e. humanization, affinity maturation, and/or format engineering)
Experience with downstream, IND/FDA, and AB therapeutic risk assessment/mitigation
Strong organizational & communication skills
Experience managing research projects
