Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the property practice. Set clear goals, objectives, and targets to drive success
Recruit, mentor, and support a team of talented property professionals. Provide the tools and resources they need to succeed while fostering creativity and innovation
Identify and pursue new opportunities in the property sector. Build and maintain relationships with national clients, attend industry events, and stay ahead of market trends
Build strong, lasting relationships with key clients. Understand their needs, ensure satisfaction, and oversee the delivery of exceptional property services
Maintain and strengthen partnerships with property carriers. Work on strategic initiatives to create new capacity, exclusive arrangements, and competitive advantages
Work closely with other practice leaders and departments to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery. Share knowledge, best practices, and resources across the organization
Stay informed about industry trends, participate in forums and conferences, and publish insights to position the organization as a leader in the property field
Qualification
Required
You're a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation
You have experience leading teams, recruiting talent, and fostering professional development
You excel at building and maintaining relationships with clients and carrier partners
You're knowledgeable about the property sector, market trends, and industry developments
You're a strong communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver
You're passionate about delivering high-quality services and making a difference
Preferred
Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred
Excellent sales capabilities; outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Track record of competitive success
