Workers' Compensation Paralegal
Bachus & Schanker, LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Workers Compensation Paralegal to join their team in Englewood. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing superior support to clients and assisting with cases from sign up through resolution, while maintaining consistent communication and organization of case files.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Extensive contact with clients
Familiarity with medical records
Assist with cases from sign up through resolution
Gather and analyze information relevant to the case
Extensive review and knowledge of each case
Maintain contact with clients on a consistent basis
Docketing and Calendaring
Organization and maintenance of case files
Have strong work ethic and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Exceptional communication and written skills
Qualification
Required
1 to 3+ years of workers compensation or general litigation experience
Must have ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Continuously assist attorneys in keeping cases well-organized and current
Frequent communication with clients to provide case information and updates
Ability to multi-task required while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and meeting deadlines
Time management, professional communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team-based structure
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software
Preferred
Experience with Workers Compensation cases
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
