Start in 2026 SummerThe Hillman Group is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Analyst Intern to support the S&OP process for assigned customers or channels. This role provides hands-on exposure to demand planning, supply planning, data analysis, and cross-functional communication within a dynamic Supply Chain organization.

Responsibilities
Support creation of demand deck and reporting materials for monthly S&OP meetings
Assist in scheduling and preparing for monthly S&OP meetings for assigned customers/channels
Help collect, organize, and maintain supply chain data related to demand, supply issues, and inventory
Assist with communication of project updates, supply status, and action items to internal stakeholders
Support efforts to track and mitigate customer fines by gathering data and preparing summaries
Help maintain the S&OP action register, ensuring updates and follow-ups are documented
Conduct ad hoc reporting and basic analysis as directed by the S&OP team
Analyze POS or sales data to identify trends under supervision
Assist with new item planning by collecting required inputs, tracking progress, and preparing forecast summaries
Support periodic reviews of new item forecasts versus actual performance
Attend internal and external meetings as needed to observe and support S&OP activities
Help facilitate communication between the Supply Chain Planning department, Sales, and other cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Operations, or related field
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Solid interpersonal communication
Analytical and problem‑solving ability
Professionalism and strong work ethic
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with direction
Strong organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts
Preferred
Interest in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or demand/supply planning preferred
Exposure to tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Excel is desirable
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, JDE/E1, GAINS) is a plus but not required
