Responsibilities
Able to understand, and adhere to the company policies, procedures, and work instructions that apply to this role
Process metal parts through heat and chemical treatment operation using wash tanks, ovens, furnaces and material handling equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Keep required maintenance logs up to date
Report all deviations in equipment performance to supervisor
Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe
Cooperate and coordinate with other personnel for usage of shared shop equipment
Perform other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must have ability to pass medical evaluation for respirator use and abide by requirements for wearing respiratory protection such as a Powered Air Purifying Respirator
Must have the ability to work in elevated temperature environments for short periods of time utilizing protective equipment
Must possess valid driver's license from his/her state of residence
Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time while performing duties
Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when needed
Preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills with ability to work in a team setting
Basic math skills
Basic use of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
