Structural Engineering Intern (Bridges) - Summer 2026

Responsibilities
Performs evaluations of structures of various degrees of complexity
Prepares plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates under the supervision of experienced engineers
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create structural models
Contribute to the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients under supervision
Conduct site visits to assess existing structures or monitor construction progress
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Preferred
In pursuit of a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
3.0 GPA
Working knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads/OpenBridge
A previous internship related to bridge design
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
