Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely billing, accurate invoicing, and effective collections
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reporting
Managing accounting-related processes associated with onboarding and offboarding
Perform accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare standard financial reports and schedules for management review
Participate in special projects, as assigned
Enter and maintain project data, billing information, and timekeeping records in Deltek Vantagepoint
Generate standard reports to support project managers and leadership
Develop new reporting and invoice templates
Assist in troubleshooting system issues and ensuring data accuracy
Ensure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies and procedures
Prepare documentation for audits and tax filings
Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory, contractual, and client requirements
Interface with CPA firm and banking partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of five years of accounting experience in consulting or a professional services environment
Proficiency in Deltek Vision and Deltek Vantagepoint accounting software
Strong knowledge of GAAP and project – based accounting principles
Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing financial reports and analyses
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Strong proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred
