Responsibilities

Research and evaluate emerging Agentic AI frameworks and methodologies
Develop and implement prototypes of AI agents to address specific EDA problems (e.g., design exploration, optimization)
Assist in integrating AI agent solutions with existing EDA tools and workflows
Analyze performance and effectiveness of AI-driven approaches compared to traditional methods
Collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers to define project scope and deliverables
Document findings, present results, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Required

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Strong understanding of AI/Machine Learning fundamentals, including neural networks, reinforcement learning, or large language models
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred

Familiarity with agent-based systems, multi-agent systems, or autonomous agents is a plus
Basic understanding of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) concepts (e.g., VLSI design, circuit simulation, physical design) is a bonus
