Marketing Print Project Manager

Responsibilities

Provide consultative support to internal partners by evaluating print work orders, timelines, budgets, and production needs to determine the most effective print solutions
Act as the primary liaison between Dollar Tree and print vendors, negotiating competitive pricing and ensuring adherence to quality and deadline expectations
Review and approve final print drafts, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with marketing materials
Monitor vendor performance and productivity, conducting regular evaluations to ensure standards are met
Research, identify, and onboard new print vendors as needed to support evolving business demands
Partner with the Merchandising team to develop and proof in-store signage that aligns with circulars, pass-outs, and digital promotions
Create and manage monthly Marketing Kits that include all signage required to support promotional events
Collaborate with merchandising vendors on chainwide and targeted in-store promotions, ensuring visual consistency and messaging integrity
Develop and manage industrial signage kits, including store format kits, new store kits, and renovation kits
Manage the marketing print budget, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards
Plan and direct production workflows and schedules based on budgets, workloads, and deadlines
Partner with Purchasing to source print commodity items and maintain inventory for reordering
Evaluate existing processes and implement streamlined, cost-effective improvements to support marketing initiatives
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of print processes, digital formats, and cross-platform solutions
Manage, mentor, and develop Print Marketing Specialists, promoting industry best practices and career growth
Provide ongoing training and technology development opportunities to ensure the team stays current with print industry standards
Foster strong cross-functional relationships and promote effective communication between teams
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) and/or equivalent relevant work experience
8–10 years of experience in the printing field, either within a print company or an internal print/marketing department
Experience managing a print or marketing production budget
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to balance cost, quality, and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Knowledge of visual merchandising and store development strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong understanding of various printing methods, techniques, and production processes

Preferred

Experience supporting retail marketing or large-scale, multi-location signage programs
Familiarity with digital asset workflows and cross-platform print solutions
Prior experience leading or mentoring creative or production teams
