Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with best practices
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization activities
Conduct research on emerging technologies and software development methodologies to inform project decisions
Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Sciences or a related field
Coursework on hands-on projects in Machine learning, Data Mining or applied AI
Experience with Python ML/data libraries eg., pandas, XGBoost or similar
Familiarity with SQL based data analysis and exploratory data analysis
Interest in Fraud detection, risk modeling, or applied machine learning
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers, product teams
Strong Fundamentals in Computer science: Data Structures, Algorithms, OS/Networking basics and Linux fundamentals
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, model development and scripting
Working knowledge of machine learning concepts (supervised learning, classification, model evaluations, bias/variance), Familiarity with Tree based model, XGBoost, Random Forest etc
Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and version control
Understanding of REST APIs and microservice concepts
