Responsibilities

Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, or other languages in a real-time operating system environment
Develop AWS cloud services that manage the Leo satellites
Write system applications for satellite command, file transfer and telemetry
Work closely with Leo ground service teams and satellite agent teams to support satellite operations

Required

7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
7+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, or other languages in a real-time operating system environment
Develop AWS cloud services that manage the Leo satellites
Write system applications for satellite command, file transfer and telemetry
Work closely with Leo ground service teams and satellite agent teams to support satellite operations
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
