Responsibilities

Validate firmware, hardware, backend services, and dashboards prior to release

Define testable quality expectations with engineering teams

Participate in release readiness and risk assessments

Reproduce and triage customer-impacting issues

Support shipment-related validation as processes mature

Contribute to automated testing across device, API, and UI layers

Improve QA workflows, documentation, and test coverage

Communicate quality risks and release readiness to stakeholders

Partner with development partners to ensure delivery timelines

Qualification

Testing IoT platformsEmbedded firmware validationValidating APIsTest automation frameworksScripting for automationCross-functional communicationRisk communicationFast-paced environment

Required

Experience testing IoT platforms, distributed systems, or cloud applications

Familiarity with embedded firmware validation and hardware-integrated testing

Experience validating APIs and backend services

Strong test design, regression strategy, and risk-based testing skills

Experience validating production releases and assessing customer impact

Strong cross-functional communication skills

Ability to identify quality gaps and communicate risk clearly

Comfort operating in fast-paced product environments

Preferred

Experience with test automation frameworks

Scripting experience for automation

CI pipeline familiarity

Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or logistics environments
