Responsibilities
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems to ensure optimal performance and security
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and enhance reliability
Configure and maintain network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and access controls to protect organizational data
Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure compliance with security standards and prevent vulnerabilities
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support network upgrades, migrations, and integration of new technologies
Document network configurations and procedures, maintaining accurate records for audits and future reference
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in network administration, including managing LAN/WAN environments
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues
