Responsibilities

The two-year program consists of a series of rotations designed to explore different engineering functions and aspects of the paper and packaging industry
The Reliability ECD Program is a comprehensive three-phase reliability training program that spans 32 weeks sequentially at multiple locations
It begins with seven weeks of mechanical field development to build practical skills in safety, maintenance, and precision practices across mill areas
The second phase, also seven weeks, focuses on reliability field development, including lubrication, vibration analysis, and leadership shadowing
The final 18-week phase centers on reliability engineering development, emphasizing root cause failure analysis, equipment strategy, KPI tracking, and Six Sigma projects to enhance maintenance and reliability processes
In this role you will lead efforts to improve equipment reliability with what you learn as you develop in the role
There is a path for Mechanical and Electrical engineering disciplines
Successful Reliability ECD Engineers create cost take out (savings) through eliminating equipment defects through using problem solving skills and collaborating with others
Rotations are selected based on business need and can be anywhere within the United States
The Engineering Rotational Associate may also support projects in Global Paper, Sustainability, Corporate Functions and/or special assignments
This developmental program is designed to prepare individuals for growth into roles like, Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Supervisors, Reliability Engineers, Maintenance/Reliability Superintendents/Managers and more

Required

Bachelor's degree in Pulp Paper, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related Engineering
Prior experience in Operations, Paper Manufacturing, or a related field is highly valued
Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook
Working knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment (i.e. pumps, valves, motors, gear boxes)
Analytical: Demonstrates a general understanding of various sources of information or data that are relevant to the business; summarizes or integrates information for routine problems or issues with oversight from others as necessary
Detail-Oriented: Has an eye for recognizing errors or differences; plans and completes work with thoroughness, giving attention to specific information and individual details, conditions, necessary record keeping, and elements of that work
