Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications, including SAIL interfaces, Records, Process Models, and integrations
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into Appian technical designs
Create high‑level and detailed design documents for Appian implementations
Build and optimize integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, APIs, databases)
Ensure solutions follow Appian best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and apply fixes as needed
Participate in Agile ceremonies—backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and deployments
Provide technical guidance and support during development, testing, and go‑live
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (SAIL, Records, Process Models, Web APIs, CDTs)
Strong understanding of workflow automation and BPM concepts
Experience integrating Appian with external systems such as Oracle, SAP, REST/SOAP APIs, or MuleSoft
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Appian applications
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of data modeling, application architecture, and performance optimization in Appian
Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred
Exposure to process mining or AI-driven automation
Experience with financial, accounting, or manufacturing processes
