Responsibilities
Provides front desk support to the front and back clinic team regarding patient concern
Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff to report any changes in a patient's condition or needs
Arranging Lyft transportation
Answers the telephone, directs calls as appropriate, and greets team members/patients in a courteous professional manner
Schedule appointments/treatments
Collect co-payments/outstanding balances
Complete patient registration
WQs- billing
Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
Check in and check out patients
Verify insurances- OneSource
Stocking office supply
Promoting a positive patient experience through empathy and support
Maintains continuous Joint Commission readiness
Complies with HIPAA regulations. Identifies and supports patient safety and infection control protocols
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED, required
Preferred
Associate's degree in health administration, preferred
1 year of related experience and/or training and previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role, preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), preferred
