College Aide
The City of New York is seeking a College Aide to support the Department of Design and Construction, Law Division. The role involves performing high-level administrative tasks, including organizing records, maintaining spreadsheets, and assisting with research assignments.

Assisting with the organization of all paper and computer records
Maintaining Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets/updates
Research assignments
Shredding, scanning, redacting, and photocopying
Handling reproduction service requests
Archiving agency records
Acknowledging FOIL requests
Researching FOIL requests when necessary
Qualification
Required
Must be a student enrolled in an accredited college or graduate school
Authorization to work in the United States is required
Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school
For Assignment Level II: Specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study
For Assignment Level III: Specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study
Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to maintain and manage daily reports
