Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and/or manual mills and lathes for production and prototype work
Translate blueprints, drawings, and specifications into effective machining strategies
Verify dimensions and tolerances with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments
Continuously monitor machine performance; tweak speeds, feeds, and offsets to hold spec
Handle routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues
Partner with engineers and programmers to enhance processes and throughput
Keep your workstation clean and organized while following all safety procedures
Record production details and maintain accurate job documentation
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in machining (CNC and/or manual)
Demonstrated ability to set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and/or manual equipment
Solid metrology skills with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Resourceful problem-solver who can troubleshoot effectively
Detail-driven, quality-focused approach
Ability to excel independently and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred
G-code familiarity is beneficial, not mandatory
