Program Coordination – Volunteer Trainee – SheTek
SheTek is a dynamic, mission-driven non-profit dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. The Program Coordination Trainee will serve as the primary liaison for SheTek College Chapters and play a key role in the development and execution of training programs.

Responsibilities
Act as the central point of contact between university chapter leads and SheTek leadership
Guide student leaders in launching and growing new chapters in alignment with university and SheTek guidelines
Maintain comprehensive documentation for chapter processes and track milestones, timelines, and engagement metrics
Organize schedules, virtual meetings, and events to keep the chapter network connected and energized
Collaborate with internal teams and industry partners to design and refine tech-skills and soft-skills training modules
Assist in identifying and interviewing subject matter experts and resources for various programs
Oversee course development timelines, manage registration lists, and ensure seamless student participation
Administer and analyze post-course surveys to provide data-driven recommendations for program growth
Provide administrative support for high-priority events and partnership initiatives
Prepare professional status reports and executive summaries for leadership
Capture action items during meetings and facilitate follow-up communication with partners, mentors, and volunteers
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree
0–2 years of experience (inclusive of internships, volunteer work, or student leadership)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
Familiarity with AI tools is a strong plus
A self-starter with a 'no task too small' attitude and a genuine passion for advancing women in STEM
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple moving parts independently
