Responsibilities
Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep to support scalable data engineering environments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate Databricks clusters, jobs, notebooks, libraries, and environment promotions
Oversee deployment and release processes, ensuring smooth coordination across teams with proper rollback and recovery strategies
Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and orchestration frameworks to support end‑to‑end data workflows
Implement strong cloud security practices including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault integration, and adherence to governance frameworks like Unity Catalog
Monitor and troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and pipeline issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Databricks observability tools, collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Azure cloud engineering, Databricks, Azure DevOps, and data‑pipeline automation
Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud solutions with deep knowledge of RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, Unity Catalog, and Azure monitoring/diagnostics tools
