Lubrication Technician

The Lubrication Technician will service and perform light maintenance on mobile construction equipment at remote job sites, involving tasks such as changing fluids, greasing parts, and maintaining equipment documentation.
Construction

Responsibilities

Change oils in all compartments on equipment
Prepares oil samples
Changing various filters on equipment
Grease bearings and applies grease on friction surfaces
Check and fill other fluid reservoirs such as hydraulic systems, coolant systems, brake systems and washer fluid
Maintains service truck inventories and supplies
Reports on any defects in or on equipment to the supervisor
Maintain proper documentation of service work performed
Cleans machinery cabs, glass and mirrors
Perform other duties as assigned

Class A CDLHazmat endorsementTanker endorsementHand tool operationIndustrial safety knowledgeAdaptability to weatherEffective communication

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and Tanker endorsements or the ability to acquire all endorsements
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to operate various hand tools to perform service work
Ability to complete work tasks under various weather conditions
Knowledge of industrial and shop safety rules and procedures
