Responsibilities

Support the mission and goals of Emory Valley Center in all aspects of work and services, demonstrating a supportive and proactive team attitude
Follow Tennessee Department of Human Services (DHS) licensure guidelines, as well as EVC policies and procedures
Greet and assist parents, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
Maintain accurate and confidential child, staff, and center records
Perform various computer tasks, including data entry, word processing, creating spreadsheets, and managing email correspondence
Assist the Director and other team members with administrative duties as needed
Ensure program routines comply with DHS licensure standards and EVC regulations

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in administrative or office management is preferred
Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a childcare or human services environment
Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong focus on attention to detail
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain positive communication with others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management tools
Capability to uphold confidentiality and comply with established policies and procedures
Potential exposure to various medical conditions and infectious diseases
Flexibility to adapt to schedules based on program and agency requirements

Preferred

An associate degree or higher is highly desirable
Familiarity with DHS licensure requirements and EVC standards is advantageous
