AVP, Global Head of Early Career Talent Programs

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a global early career strategy aligned to long‑term workforce, leadership, and skill needs
Partner with Strategic Workforce Planning, HRBPs, and the Talent Management COE to anticipate future capabilities and build scalable early‑career pipelines
Position early‑career and rotational programs as a core contributor to leadership development and internal mobility
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on early‑career talent trends, market dynamics, and global best practices
Design and govern global rotational programs that intentionally could include cross‑country assignments, enabling participants to gain cultural fluency, global business perspective, and accelerated development
Define rotational program architecture, including:
Eligibility and selection criteria
Rotation length, sequence, and timing
Individual expectations and learning outcomes
Placement and matching processes
Manage the full lifecycle of rotations, including selection, onboarding, country placement, in‑rotation support, assessments, and post‑program placement
Ensure alignment between rotational experiences, job architecture, and long‑term career paths
Lead a globally consistent yet locally relevant campus recruiting strategy across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
Build and sustain long‑term partnerships with priority universities, professional associations, and diversity‑focused institutions
Oversee employer branding, candidate experience, hiring outcomes, and offer conversion for all early‑career hiring
Ensure internships and co‑op programs serve as strong feeders into full‑time and rotational roles
Partner with Talent Management to define core development curriculum for all early‑career and rotational programs
Establish program‑specific learning tied to rotational objectives, including leadership, technical, and global capability development
Clearly define roles and expectations for rotation managers
Deliver training and toolkits for rotation managers focused on coaching, feedback, assessment, and inclusive leadership
Build mentorship and sponsorship structures to support participant success and long‑term retention
Define and track program KPIs, including hiring outcomes, rotation effectiveness, development progress, participant and manager experience, and retention
Lead program governance forums with business stakeholders and steering committees
Use data‑driven insights to continuously improve program design, scalability, and impact
Represent Pacific Life externally with universities, industry groups, and early‑career communities
Partner with Public Affairs and community organizations to align early‑career programs with broader community engagement and outreach efforts
Lead, coach, and develop a global early‑careers and mobility team
Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement
Build organizational capabilities that enable sustainable global program growth

Required

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in early‑career recruiting, talent acquisition, talent management, or leadership development
At least 5 years of experience leading global teams and programs in a matrixed organization
Proven experience designing, launching, and governing global rotational programs, including cross‑country rotations
Deep expertise in campus recruiting, university relations, and internship‑to‑full‑time conversion
Understanding of global mobility, compensation frameworks, and regulatory considerations
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and operate effectively across regions and cultures

Preferred

Experience building high‑impact early‑career or leadership development programs with international rotations
Strong strategic mindset paired with disciplined execution
Data‑driven approach to program design and ROI measurement
Exceptional stakeholder management, executive presence, and change leadership skills
Passion for developing talent and creating inclusive, globally connected career pathways
